Preflight is a plane management software that allows live booking of private planes and real time maintenance data. With Preflight, flying is made easy. We worked with Robin, the lead programmer to help tell the story of Preflight through the lens of two personas: The pilot and the club owner.
The goal was to present how Preflight helped achieve the desires of each person and show how their stories interweave.

We re-imagined the classic promotional flyer into a full brand story experience in order to highlight Preflight software and it’s capabilities. (Pictured at bottom).

We sat down to write and create a cohesive brand story, highlighting key features of the software and how it solved the problem of the different users. Our answer, was to create 2 separate story lines and visuals that showed the perspective of the pilot, and the plane club owner; eventually telling the entire story in one cohesive thought.
We filmed and photographed for three days to capture the story of Preflight, first from the pilot’s POV.

We filmed and photographed from Louisburg, NC to Raleigh to Wilmington, NC. The at home shots were all filmed in Bryce’s kitchen.

The Tangible Story
PreFlight’s story began in 2015 after Robin relocated to the US and began training with Aerodynamic Aviation at KRHV. Having extensive experience in developing custom-made software solutions, he was shocked by the absence of comprehensive and up-to-date solutions designed specifically for flight schools, especially those that were reasonably priced. The dissatisfaction he encountered with the scheduling software options prevailing in the market, coupled with their limited functionalities, resonated with his fellow pilots, motivating him to create an all-inclusive solution.
By 2017, PreFlight was officially underway & the path to revolutionizing aviation scheduling software began.
